Every year, the Texas Tech Bullet Advertising Team participates in the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), where colleges nationwide tackle the same client brief. This year, our client was Tide, and I was the Creative Director overseeing the creative team ideating the big idea and executing all creative collateral.
The Simply Switch Campaign placed 2nd in the nation
and was awarded Best Visual Design Craft Award.

Below are pages from the final book which contains the work from our team. It includes our research, print ads, promotions, media strategy, and our final budget. This book was presented to the judges at competition and was a key piece in our presentation.
The book strategically switches from Tide's classic orange look to a cool color palette to play into the creative concept. Furthermore, the use of organic, hand-drawn shapes throughout the book play into Tide's values of authenticity, boldness, and being the brand of the people to create a fresh look that still felt true to Tide.
Below are the campaign videos used in the Simply Switch Campaign. Videos show comedic scenarios of an "Everyday Optimizer" trying to keep their clothes clean, prevent color bleeding, and limit their climate impact. Similarly, short-form videos contrast a wacky, unrealistic "life hack", with the simpler option to was on cold.

*This campaign was a collaborative effort. I contributed to the design, book layout and development of creative pieces. I also oversaw the creative team in designing assets, working closely with a talented team of designers and strategists.*
